Garlic Cookies, also known as Ultra Violet GMO, is a hybrid strain with a strong Indica dominance. It was created by crossing Chem dawg with Girl Scout Cookies. Ultra violet GMO is a fusion of the popular MK Ultra (purple pheno) and the renowned GMO strains. With 80% Indica and 20% Sativa, U ltra Violet GMOdelivers a powerful punch. Its average THC level ranges from 24% to 30%, slightly higher than most strains on the market. Caution is advised for inexperienced users to avoid being overwhelmed by its sedative effects.
Despite its name, the buds do not turn purple, but by reducing the night temperature in the last 3 weeks of growth, a violet coating can be achieved. This plant grows like a typical Indica, with a short and bushy stature and a dominant main cola. Ultra Violet GMO is not suitable for topping or LST techniques, but it thrives in limited height spaces. The flavor profile is similar to its parent strain, Garlic Cookies, with hints of haze and kush from the MK Ultra, which is a cross between G13 and OG Kush. It has a strong and pungent aroma and flavor, but Ultra violet GMO offers a smoother smoke and a subtle hint of sweetness.
