Sensi Seeds developed Michka alongside Eagle Bill®, and during the breeding process, a remarkable phenotype caught our attention. It was elegant, tall, and had a delightful citrus scent. We knew we had to preserve and refine this line. The result is a superior sativa, deserving of the name. The feminized version produces only female plants, removing the need for growers to remove male plants during the flowering stage.
Michka® Feminized plants grow quickly with minimal lateral branching, making it suitable for certain growing conditions. Its tall stature requires ample vertical space, but techniques like Screen of Green (SCROG), Supercropping, or Lollipopping can help in limited spaces. Seeing a fully-grown plant outdoors is a unique experience, but it requires a warm climate with long summers. Like most sativas, Michka Feminized has a long flowering time of 70 to 85 days. Towards the end of the flowering phase, the plants are covered in abundant succulent buds, with some examples showing no visible stem due to the number of buds. These light-green, compact buds with their unusual spiral-shaped growth structure provide good ventilation and protection against mold.
